Hello my lovelies! Well, we are nearly at the end of 2017 and I have reached the end of my #Journal52 journey. I did at times find it hard to keep up due to illnesses flaring up, but I did it in the end! 😊

More Sezzing! Table and Tablet Case

Hello my lovelies! I have posted on Instagram and FB but wanted to share here too! I decided to 'Sez' some more! (Sez is altering/personalising in my style). I tend to use my art table as a big palette while I work, as you can see in the first photo. So it naturally called out to me to be one big art piece that I can add to!

I had loads of fun! I finished it off with some acrylic ink splats. I love how it turned out and I've actually found that it inspires me to create more, which is great! I am planning to nest in my new studio and once I've finished I will post pics. 😊

Well, after 'Sezzing' my table I went on to 'Sez' my new tablet case. It started out as plain red. I couldn't leave it like that so I had a whale of a time! Lots of funky layers in acrylic paint and I used POSCA pens for details. Love it! 😊

IKEA Wash Bag to Journal Bag Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

Today I have a tutorial for you. Well kind of...

I wanted to walk you through how I made my journal bag, using an IKEA wash bag.

I thought this wash bag would be a potentially great journal bag because it has lots of pockets.

Here it is...

 Bit boring? Yeah I thought so too! 😏 So I SEZED it! *SEZED is altering stuff in my own style.
I mixed some white acrylic paint with some Berol Fabric Medium and painted it on. You are supposed to iron it to set it but I just used my heat gun. Genius! 😉

 I then mixed it with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics in; Cerulean Blue, Quinacridone Magenta and Hansa Yellow Medium.

 I just slapped it on in a random way. I'm good at random! 😆 Anyway! It does look a bit pastel but once dry it brightens up.

 I then got out my trusty POSCA pens in Black and White. I did some scribble and writing in Black on the background and then used the white to bring everything together. "Create a life with Love."
The S on the closure is for Sarah/Sez.

 I added some dangles, because I love dangles and I love beads....so dangles!

 Here's the inside... Lots of fab goodies for journaling with... Even fit my journal in there! 😊
