PaperArtsy Challenge Prize

Hiya!
 Hope you are all well!
A couple of weeks ago I entered a challenge at the PaperArtsy blog.
They had Darcy Wilkinson over as a guest designer...
(If you have time, checkout my Coaster post & my Coaster Holder post.)
Anyway...I won!
My prize was these fab stamps by Jo Firth-Young for PaperArtsy.

I had to use them straight away... as you do!
So, I made a couple of cards...

and then later on I made these canvasses...

I hope you like them!

Notebooks

Hiya!
Another quickie to show you some notebooks I made for an up coming stall...

I made my own background papers & used them to cover each book. I then used various stamps & images from The Graphics Fairy. On some, I used some copper blanks which I hand stamped 'Notes' into.

I hope you like them! Thanks for stopping by!

Altered phone case

 Hi there!
Just a quickie to show you my phone case!
It started as a plain pink case, so I thought I'd jazz it up a bit with my Fresco paints!
Hope you like it as much as I do!

Card inspired by Darcy.

  Hiya crafty peeps!
Thought I'd just show you a card I made for my step-daughters birthday.

It's inspired by Darcy Wilkinson's Wallpaper technique that she uses in the House of Books Tutorial for PaperArtsy. Click the link to see!

I really love how it turned out!

Coaster Holder.

Hi Crafty Peeps!

I was inspired by Darcy's Treasure Gold Storage Project over on
PaperArtsy. I don't have a huge amount of Treasure gold so I decided to make a holder for the coasters I made the other day...

I started with a cardboard box.

I measured the coasters & cut the cardboard to shape.

I painted the cardboard using the same Fresco paints I used for the coasters. I did this on both sides.

I then brayered on the Bleached Sand paint & wiped back with a babywipe. I did this on both sides.

I used the same stamps...

I used some Tissue Tape to secure the sides. I just wrapped it round...

I then used the same Frescos & just used my fingers to apply it...

I then stamped...

Voila!!

If you want to see how I made the coasters visit HERE.

ATC Tin

Hi my lovelies!
Today I decided I'd spruce up my ATC storage tin that I got from Chocolate Baroque. It started out as a silver coloured tin. I covered it in 7Gypsies Paper Tape.

I then painted it with my PaperArtsy Fresco Acrylic paints in London Bus, Hey Pesto & Beach Hut. They are translucent so you can see the text on the tape!

I stamped the Imagination stamp from PaperArtsy & the Ink Blot stamp from the Ageing Beautifully set by Sheena Douglass in Black Archival Ink.

I decided I wanted it to read 'Imagination rules my world' instead. So I got my typewriter stamps out from that I got from Polkadoodles & stamped over 'The'.

I then stamped a smiley face, filled in the text with my White Posco pen & black fine liner.

Hope you like it, I do! It will be a funky new home for my finished ATC's.

I would like to enter this into

PaperArtsy Coaster Project.

Hiya! Well it's been lots of fun over at PaperArtsy's Blog! Darcy Wilkinson is guest designer & I've had a go at her coaster project...

I started with plain cork coasters that I sealed with a coat of Mod Podge. I then gave them a coat of DecoArt acrylic paint in Beached Sand. I did this because my Fresco paints are the translucent kind! (I have since ordered a few more in opaque...Shh!)

Once dry, a few squibs of Frescos in London Bus, Hey Pesto, Beach Hut & Pumpkin soup & then spread with my trusty Love film freebie card!

I was more slap dash than Darcy & I really wasn't sure if this was going to turn out very well!
I sprayed Dylusions in Bubblegum Pink & Vibrant Turquiose over some sequin waste. I was going to use a floral stencil but I cant find it! (That will keep me awake tonight!)

Once dry, I then brayered acrylic paint in Titanium White onto them. ( Hadn't got any Snowflake!)

I used Posy Petals Quatro stamps & an ink blot stamp from the Ageing Beautifully set by Sheena Douglass.

Once dry, I took a babywipe & rubbed back to the colours underneath. I then sealed them with Matte Mod Podge.
Voila!

I love them! They are for my living room... I wondered why I'd been drawn to those colours!

Hope you like them too! Thanks for stopping by!
